I find it interesting that someone would be up in arms about being straightfoward about anal sex, just because it involves anal. As may be noticed, I have a link to my advice column from here. I like to keep the stand of making the information honest and straightforward (I don't like the sort of bush-beating my adult peers do about topics). Apparently I have offended one of those anally retentive about anal subjects , who complained that I was encouraging a teenager to anal sex (nevermind they're going to do it anyway, at least I can make it not be a traumatic experience). Upon explaining that I'd rather give them honest information than just saying you'll be a bad person, they made it about the anal part. Sorry folks, anal sex IS sex. Whether you find it distasteful or a sort of undiscovered candy, it still is a form of sex. Just like oral sex. To ignore teens having "regular" sex and focus on them having anal, is rather like a missionary dictating what position a group of tribe people use. It's a tad on the silly side considering most people have sex for pleasure and/or procreation, which sometimes requires unique positions to accomplish. Damn anal retentive anti-anals.
(Final thought: I've decided that seeing as this person refuses to pull their head out of their ass and made the issue about my maturity -funny thing to tell a mother who is making a pretty good way for herself- I have decided to give up on trying to get the person to make a sound argument against my advice, they can live in their ignorance for the time being.)
